Do you ever eat your own words? That was the case with me the other day. God sure does have a sense of humor. Often, when I am overconfident Life has a way of humbling me. And just when I think that I have seen it all I am amazed. I feel that I am being trained and crafted for something greater. My answers are in humility. Thank you all for keeping me humble. Have a blessed day. Peace.

  1. Love this. God is quick to humble. It happens to me and sometimes I just have to laugh out loud.

Glad our paths crossed. You offer so much knowledge and wisdom!

    1. Ah, thank you Jenna. Yes, I am glad I am able to accept the gift of humility, these days.

Glad you are the first to leave a comment on the page! Gang gang, buzz buzz.

  2. Ahhh, the Ego, friend or faux?
For in It’s humility, remembers all the scraped knees. It reaches out a questing hand and with God’s assistance is helped off the ground, back to a strong stance. It secretly expresses gratitude for It’s newest knowledge and understanding. Hastily and eager to carry on with pride only to move toward the next fall.
The Ego gives the will to carry on and the humility to carry out the mission to quest for higher understanding. Therefore, I have to assume that It’s quite possibly my friend. The one that leads with confidence, confidence enough to explore unchartered territory. In gratitude, I surrender to the audacious Ego’s next venture in quest to meet humility. In gratitude 🙏🏻🙏🏻

    1. In my experience, as long as it is my friend and not a bully then we are cool. Hehe.

A problem I had was that self reliance had failed me and I was caught in illusion that I could “manage” life well.
